Happy 2018! I hope you all had a cosy, wholesome and joyous Christmas with your families. As many of you know, I spent Christmas with my family in India. My brother had been travelling India, Sri Lanka and Nepal so I flew out with my Mum and Sister to meet him.
We had a glorious time and my brother was a great tour guide. I was fully booked for most of the run up to Christmas (getting all your skin ready for office parties, mistletoe kisses and winter weddings) so it was fabulous to have some time off with my family. We visited Bangalore for Christmas, Kerala for New Year’s and Delhi on the way back. A highlight of the trip was shopping in KR Market on Christmas Eve for our dinner and flower garlands to decorate our apartment.
We packed our suitcases full of the essentials (Selfridges' Christmas Pudding, Fortnum and Mason Port and Stilton) and stocked up on the Champagne at Heathrow Duty Free. Mum got to making our little rented house a home immediately and crafted a little Christmas tree from banana leaves.
At the risk of becoming that boring holiday pics girl, I'm going to show you just a few more highlights of the Keralan backwaters, Varkala Cliffs and The Imperial Spa Delhi.
After a lot of car journeys and domestic flights, we were looking forward to three relaxed girly days in Abu Dhabi. Declan went on to finish his tour of India in Varanasi. I absolutely adored checking out the new Louvre and getting some sun...with my skin ceuticals spf 50 of course!
Looking forward to seeing you all soon for your next treatment and hearing all about your Christmas and New Year's Eve shenanigans.
Lots of Love,
